Endowment
The outstanding facilities that City Park provides are becoming more expensive to maintain. As a unique state agency that has just begun to receive a portion of our operating budget from the state, we are challenged to continue providing the best recreational facilities for park visitors. Our answer to these financial problems is to focus on the long term.
The interest from endowed funds is used to support a variety of projects ranging from the upkeep of playgrounds 
and landscaping of the park to employee development. Whether you are interested in establishing a new fund or supporting an existing endowed fund, we welcome your support.
City Park maintains its endowment with the Greater New Orleans Foundation. The park's endowment has grown by gifts from families and friends and strong investment growth. Endowed gifts live in perpetuity for the benefit of City Park and are essential to secure the park for the future.
