Ends at 11:00 a.m.

Entry Fee
$10 Adults
$5 Kids (12 & under)
Entry fee includes one free raffle ticket for
fishing tackle prizes and a rodeo booklet.

  • Bass by Bait-Casting
  • Bass by Fly fishing
  • Bass by Spinning or Spincast
  • Bream
  • Team Event-Rio Grande Roundup

    Bonus:
  • Catfish Kids:
    Any registrant 16 yrs or younger may also bring in ONE live catfish. Awards given to the three youths who bring in the three heaviest catfish.
  • RED TAG SPECIAL:
    First registrant presenting live tagged REDFISH to Weigh Master will receive $100. Second registrant receives $50 (see rules).

    Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the Fishtival!
    9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

    • Music by DJ Ron Folse
    • Food, soft drinks and beer available.
    • Activities for the Kids: casting contest (ages 6-12), fly fishing demo, cast net throwing demo-try your hand!
    • Mardi Gras toss of fishing tackle for the kids!!!
    • Educational Exhibits and Demonstrations: Conservation, Fishing, Wildlife, Boating, and more.
    • Local artists & craftsmen: Glinda Schafer, Bill Dazet, Bowen Jewelers, and others.
    • Raffles galore: $1 and $5 raffles for lots of fishing gear, restaurant gift certificates and more.
    • Win a charter fishing trip televised by Don Dubuc with Capt. Sanchez

      Win a Fishing Trip with the creator of the Deadly Dudley, Capt. Dudley Vandenborre
