Volunteer with City Park Mow-Rons

They could have called themselves 'the folks who come mow and clean up the park on Saturday mornings" but the Mow-Rons is so much more fun. Add their tag line of Weeding by Example and how could you not want to join in the fun?

The Mow-Rons meet most Saturday mornings in front of the Museum of Art at Lelong and Wisner at 9:00 a.m and work until 12:00 noon.

Volunteers are encouraged to dress appropriately (no open-toed sandals!), wear a hat, and apply sunscreen and insect repellant. Volunteers are responsible for providing any beverages they wish to drink and food they wish to consume. Bring plenty of liquids year round, but particularly during the summer months.

For more information visit www.mow-rons.org or email info@mow-rons.org.
